I don't feel comfortable allowing someone else to contact my physician directly. I see there is a medical release form included in the FML request packet. Parental leave is granted by University of Houston policy to individuals who do not meet the criteria for FML but who need time away from work for the birth or adoption of a child. FML leave is granted by federal law to a all employees who have been with their organization for at least 12 months or 1,250 hours.
What is the difference between FML leave and Parental leave?Ī.
